Fermi Paradox;- Part 1

 Most of you are hoping that one day, we find aliens. We are still looking for aliens. This is the Fermi paradox, a question proposed by Enrico Fermi in 1950. The first answer is the great filter, where it would be our doom if we found aliens. This scenario would mean our doom. The more alien civilizations we find, the worse it will be. Well, are you curious? Then dive in.

The growth of an alien species can be marked with various steps. Each step has an obstacle (filter) until the great filter( will be explained later). The first step could be combining dead chemistry to form microcellular organisms. The next can be the combination of these organisms to form cells. From there, they can become multicellular beings. Then, organisms with brains develop. The next step probably  happened approximately 1 million years ago, makes civilizations use tools and some forms of energy. The latest step most likely happened during the industrial revolution, where we used many forms of energy. Then a civilization takes over their solar system, and the last step would be to take over the galaxy; after that, an alien civilizations can most likely survive anything. There is theoretically supposed to be a great filter which destroys most civilizations. Then, taking over their home galaxy is guaranteed.

If the great filter is below us, then we are safe, and in a matter of 10s of millions of years, we will take over the milky way galaxy. But if above us, then we are most likely dead. 

If we find alien life, the chances of the great filter being above us is higher, and we are doomed. So we can hope life is rare and the great filter is below us.
