Alien civilizations

 Have you ever been to a rural area or somewhere without pollution? You must have seen the starry night sky, glazing with twinkling stars. Did you wonder at that time if there was someone out there? If we were not alone?  Most of you think aliens exist. That is actually scientifically backed up. The Drake Equation states there are 20 to (5*10^6) intelligent species. Some sceptical people doubt alien existence, which also is reasonable due to the Great Filter ( later in another blog ). But if we found aliens, would they be cavemen or galactic travellers. Well, there is a way to class them. The Kardeshev Scale classes Aliens on energy consumption. But why energy? Human growth can be scaled with energy consumption. When we were cavemen, the only energy we used was sunlight from the sun and fire (for warmth). As we became farmers, we started using sunlight for growing crops( additional use) and fire for attacking. As the industrial revolution started, we started using coal and many other forms of energy. We also started using electricity and nuclear power. Now we use many forms of energy, including nuclear, heat etc. 

These are the classes:-

Class 1- This civilization can utilize all energy on its planet, even from the mantle and the core. All the wind, nuclear, hydraulic and more forms of energy will be utilized. We would be able to control and manipulate storms, hurricanes and all-natural disasters. Humankind is currently 0.75.

Class 2-  This civilization could control all the energy in its planetary system. They could easily travel between planets and manipulate orbits. They could terraform plants and asteroids for energy and could mine them. Best of all, they could control their home star. This could be done with a dyson sphere. This civilization would look at us like we look at gorillas.

Class 3- The last class on the Kardeshev scale, this civilization could control their home galaxy. The challenges for a class two civilization trying to become a class 3 civilization are unimaginable. The distance between stars would be like the distance from Earth to Pluto. This civilization would look like gods to us; they wouldn't even think of us as important.

Scientists have developed many classes: class 4 for controlling their group, class 5 for their supercluster, etc. There may even be a class Omega, controlling multiple universes. For now, we can only wonder, but who knows?
